This policy explains what personal information Everest Cricket Academy ("the Academy", "we") collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Information we collect
- Admission and trial details β the student's name, date of birth, guardian contact details, playing background and medical notes you choose to share.
- Account data β login email addresses and securely hashed passwords for the student, parent and staff portals. We never store passwords in readable form.
- Sporting records β attendance, match scores, statistics, coach feedback and training goals generated during academy activity.
- Fee records β invoices, payments and receipts. Card and UPI details are processed by our payment gateway and never touch our servers.
- Website messages β details you submit through the contact form.
2. How we use it
We use personal information solely to run the academy: scheduling training, recording performance, communicating with families, collecting fees and meeting legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
3. Photography
Match and training photographs may appear in the website gallery. Parents may opt a child out of photography at any time by writing to the academy office, and we will remove existing images on request.
4. Retention and your rights
Records are retained while a student is enrolled and for up to three years afterwards, unless the law requires longer. You may request a copy, correction or deletion of your family's data by emailing the academy from your registered address.
5. Security
Data is stored in a access-controlled database with role-based permissions, encrypted connections and audit logging. Only staff who need information to do their job can see it.
